Crafted from crystal-clear resin, the Ver. 2.0 Demonstrator reveals the pen’s internal architecture with exceptional clarity — a design made possible by a redesigned interior surface that reduces reflections and allows ink levels and mechanisms to be viewed more clearly. The result is a functional demonstrator that highlights Platinum’s technical precision while maintaining a clean, elegant profile.
A major upgrade in this version is the enhanced Slip & Seal mechanism, now engineered for improved airtight performance — extending protection against ink dry-out from roughly two years to over three years when capped. The inner cap of the demonstrator is printed so users can visually observe the sealing action, reinforcing the pen’s blend of engineering and transparency.
The pen is fitted with Platinum’s iconic 14K gold nib, engraved with the Mt. Fuji motif that defines the #3776 series. Known for its controlled feedback and precise line, the nib offers a distinctly Japanese writing feel and is available in multiple sizes to suit individual preferences.
