Kaweco Sport Collector's Edition Dark Olive Fountain Pen

Regular price$27.00
/

Size

The sporty and compact looks of these fountain pens transcend time and are just as attractive today as they were when they were first created years ago. Each pen is made of high-quality, colorful plastic and is compact when capped (approx. 4.1 inches long), but very comfortable when posted (5.3 inches long). Thus the Kaweco slogan "Small in the pocket, great in the hand".

Each pen features a screw-on cap for extra security and a gold-colored stainless steel nib with an iridium tip. Each pen is made in Germany and has a Kaweco metal logo on the top of the cap.

This is part of the Collector's Edition so this color is limited in production.

This pen comes with one blue ink cartridge. The cartridge comes inside the barrel of the pen. If the cartridge seems to be stuck inside the barrel, try gently tapping the barrel against a hard surface a few times to dislodge it.

Clips are available for separate purchase here: Kaweco Sport Clips

This pen can also use a cartridge converter - available for purchase here: Standard International Mini Converter

Small, but mighty

My Kaweco Sport takes little space in my purse or pocket, but is as reliable as any fountain pen I've ever owned. Lovely and dependable.

Great little pen

The double bold nib is flawless, writes like a skate on ice, very wet and lovely.

A lovely little pen

I like this pen very much! It isn't quite as smooth a nib as my TWSBI Eco, but it's cute and works great. I love the dark olive color.

Note: the converters are finicky. The Monteverde International Mini converter almost fits, but doesn't stay in place. The Kaweco converter does fit, but it takes a ton of force to get it into place the first time, (I had to put it on the desk and jam it down) after that it's okay.

Compact on style Not Flair

I myself like a longer pen, so when I first received the Kaweco in my monthly InkBox, I was a little skeptical, but ultimately surprised. To my delight, the shape of the pen is fantastic for holding the pen and has not hindered my ability to write fluidly. I wish the ink barrel was bigger, but this only affords me the ability to use other inks more regularly. The nib glides on paper whether I am writing in 'cursive' or printing. I like it so much that I purchased another!. I am a huge pen connoisseur and Kaweco is a must in my collection.

Lighter weight than expected.

When I first unboxed the pen, I was surprised at how lightweight it was. It felt a little, well, cheap for a $30 pen. However, I do like the nib a lot. It’s EF like I like and writes smoothly. It also requires a specialized converter, which is a minus to me as well. But after Using this pen for a while, I don’t regret the purchase. The metal barrels would probably feel better but not worth the extra $$.
