The Aurora Optima Bordeaux Resin Fountain Pen pairs the compact, flat-ended architecture of Aurora’s flagship Optima with a deep burgundy-red resin finish and traditional gold-tone trim. The combination gives the pen a warm, classic appearance while retaining the practical piston mechanism and ink window that define the Optima design.
Made in Italy, the Optima draws on Aurora designs of the 1930s while using modern materials and construction. The cylindrical barrel, threaded cap, Greek-key inspired cap band, and visible ink window create a distinctly Italian profile that is immediately recognizable.
This group is fitted with 18k gold nibs and is available in Fine, Medium, Broad, and 1.3 mm Stub widths. The piston mechanism fills directly from bottled ink and provides the self-contained filling experience associated with the Optima.
These pens are in near-mint pre-owned condition and are offered without the original boxes or papers.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:
Shipping Rates: International shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the package and the destination country.
Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
