Released in 2014, this masterpiece honors Henry E. Steinway (1797–1871), the German-born innovator who founded Steinway & Sons in New York and revolutionized piano building with over 120 patents.

This exquisite limited edition of 888 pieces worldwide pays homage to the elegance of a Steinway piano through its symbolic design. The skeletonized cap is crafted from solid 750 gold (18k) and decorated with a gold-plated piano frame motif. The barrel features black and white piano keys, while the clip resembles the patented screw used for bending grand piano rims. On the cone ring, the iconic Steinway & Sons name is engraved, and the crown is adorned with a luminous mother-of-pearl Montblanc emblem.

The pen’s centerpiece is its handcrafted 18k gold nib (Medium), engraved with a portrait of Henry E. Steinway himself. Additional details include a cap ring inspired by the geometric design of New York’s Steinway Hall, the first great concert hall in Manhattan, built in 1866.

This specific example is out of 888 pieces, and remains in pristine, unused condition. The set includes the full presentation package: white cardboard outer box, illustrated inner box, lacquered wooden display box, certificate and stamped booklet, and service guide folder.
