I received a sample of this ink and it has promise, but unless you are using a thicker paper it will bleed through rather easily. I swatched this in my standard notebook and noticed relatively large bleeding almost through two pages. There is zero sheening to this ink and shading is minor more seen in heavier saturation, so if you are looking for a solid black this may be the one you want.
