I received this ink as part of the subscription and I absolutely love it! I am using it with a Benu fine point in my Archer & Olive journal (thicker paper). It is a gorgeous blueish-purple that looks elegant, but still pretty & fun.
I received a sample of this ink and it has promise, but unless you are using a thicker paper it will bleed through rather easily.
I swatched this in my standard notebook and noticed relatively large bleeding almost through two pages.
There is zero sheening to this ink and shading is minor, so if you are looking for a solid purple this may be the one you want.

This ink is beautiful. It is very well behaved. I didn't see any sheening. It does take a tad bit longer to dry. But I use broad nib, mostly. And I use Rhodia paper most of the time. So that is to be expected. Also, I love the bottles! The cap is large enough for arthritic hands to grip it well to unscrew it. I think that is important. If you can't get the cap off, you can't use the ink! A very nice ink, indeed.
