Inspired by the mythical Rakucho bird—a celestial creature said to soar through heavenly paradises—the pen depicts two Rakucho birds in flight, representing peace, harmony, and everlasting union. Designed by esteemed artisan Masahiro Yamada, this work of art was crafted using the intricate Togidashi Taka Maki-e technique, delivering striking color depth, texture, and dimension.
The birds gracefully circle weeping cherry blossom branches, set against a background that evokes the charcoal bark of a cherry tree. This effect is achieved through Oh-hi-nuri, a rare form of Kawari-nuri lacquerwork, making its debut on a Namiki pen. Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:

Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
