The Montblanc Meisterstück Mozart 114DV Fountain Pen - Burgundy Vermeil brings precious-metal detail to the smallest writing instrument in the Meisterstück family. Deep burgundy resin forms the barrel, while the vermeil cap and fittings add warmth, weight, and a jewelry-like finish to the compact Mozart proportions.

The Mozart Format

Named for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the 114 is the smallest Meisterstück fountain pen. Its reduced scale was designed for portability rather than compromise, preserving the white Montblanc emblem, three-ring cap treatment, and handcrafted gold nib associated with the larger Classique and LeGrand models.

Burgundy and Vermeil

The DV configuration combines burgundy precious resin with vermeil, traditionally understood as gold applied over sterling silver. The contrast is especially effective at Mozart scale: the rich red body softens the brightness of the metal, while the cap gives the pen greater presence than a standard resin 114.

Writing Experience

The 18k Fine gold nib provides a controlled line well matched to the pen's compact proportions. The Mozart is cartridge-filled and does not accept a conventional full-size converter, though the storefront filling-system metafield is categorized as Cartridge Converter according to Truphae's standard filter structure.

Condition and Presentation

This example is offered in excellent pre-owned condition with its original Montblanc box. Papers are not included.
