This Edison Collier pen is made of resin, and features a #6 polished steel nib engraved with the Edison logo. It accepts a standard international converter (included) or short standard international cartridges. The Collier does not post; it is large in size but still lightweight.

All Edison pens are handmade in Milan, Ohio by Brian Gray. We do our best to photograph the pens to show how they will appear in person, but due to the nature of the material, expect some variation in the pattern from what you see here.

Right pen

This pen:
1) Has the right feel in my writing hand, especially with the tapered section. Some other pens have some taper for fingers in the section, but not to the degree of Edison’s Collier. I judge a writing instrument greatly by its feel in my
hand.
2) Is made in the USA, the way that our belongings used to be.
3) Has vintage style, especially with the clip with the ball shape at the end.
4) Was individually inspected for quality before it was shipped. I understand that also the nib tip is smoothed before it leaves Edison’s facility. This is especially important for an extra-fine (EF) nib like mine.
All these factors make me a satisfied customer, even though this is the most I’ve paid for a fountain pen. I also am glad that I bought it at a physical “brick & mortar” store. I got a 5% discount and got to hold and heft it before purchase.

Great pen!

Beautiful pen, smooth nib, comfortable in hand. Will buy another Edison in the future. Definitely recommend.

Loving my Edison Collier in Burnished Gold

As a long time user of fountain pens (I started when they were used in grade school) I have only used inexpensive pens as they worked and that is all I wanted from them. I finally decided to invest in a much nicer writing instrument and after much research I purchased the Edison Collier. All I can say is that I am very pleased with the quality of this pen. In addition I really love the look of the Collier and plan to add more pens to my growing collection. https://flic.kr/p/2geCYe2

Edison Collier “Pearlized Juniper”

Nice pen! This is my second. I first purchased it in “Antique Marble”. The medium steel nib writes very well. I purchased these pens to check Edison’s quality as they are my first of their products and I’m pleased. Next is a gold nib in a different finish body.

Long coveted . . .

This is a pen I had heard so much about and was hard to find at the time, until I located it on Truphae. True, it is indeed a beauty, but it is also a superb instrument. I went through high school as a fountain pen using nerd, straight through grad school being called backward because of it, and now, can write with an ink pen to my heart's content, especially with my Edison FP.
