Labyrinth, also known as Maze, is a puzzle where the solver must find a route. Maze solving is the act of finding a route through the maze from the start to finish. It is considered as one of the best mind teasers for keeping the brain sharp, while allowing one to have fun at the same time. Maze has been the inspiration to many iconic movies and games for centuries. The mazes are built in various shapes and sizes and ensure that one does not find the escape quickly.
Maison Dupont, in collaboration with 2Saints, has designed the Labyrinth that transforms into a hand-sculpted writing instrument.
This fountain pen features a large body fashioned from bronze with yellow gold finishes. The cap is also wrapped in glass as there is an actual maze built in. There is a silver ball inside the maze, so one can turn the cap, trying to get the mall from one end of the maze to the other.
This particular piece is a very rare prototype (#xx/88), and comes with a generic ST Dupont box.
