Limited to just 3,000 pieces, this exceptional pen honors Pilot’s pioneering history while reimagining its iconic retractable design in a luminous, symbolic finish.
The aluminum body features a dusk-to-dawn gradient, shifting seamlessly from deep indigo to a warm coral-pink. This colorway evokes a starlit night sky giving way to morning light, a metaphor for new beginnings and the spirit of exploration. Subtle star patterns, applied using a rotary silk-printing technique, shimmer gently under the surface—an ethereal detail that adds depth and refinement.
Inspired by the 1925 voyage of Pilot’s founders Ryosuke Namiki and Masao Wada, who set sail from Yokohama to bring Japanese gold-nib fountain pens to the world, this anniversary release embodies themes of voyage, challenge, and pioneering spirit.
The Décimo’s celebrated retractable design ensures convenience and precision—no cap, just a smooth click to reveal the nib. It is fitted with a rhodium-plated 18k gold fine nib for an elegant writing experience, perfectly balanced by the slim aluminum profile.
