The LAMY Swift Rollerball Pen pairs fluid rollerball writing with one of LAMY's most distinctive mechanical details: an integrated clip and push-button safety system. When the writing tip is extended, the clip retracts into the barrel; when the tip is withdrawn, the clip returns to its normal position for carrying.
The Swift was created around the idea that a retractable rollerball should feel as clean in use as it looks. Its clip mechanism prevents the pen from being clipped into a pocket while the tip is exposed, while also giving the barrel a streamlined profile during writing. The cylindrical metal body keeps the design understated and distinctly modern.
The LAMY Swift uses the LAMY M 66 rollerball refill, delivering the smooth, free-flowing feel associated with liquid-ink rollerballs while retaining the convenience of a retractable mechanism. It is well suited to quick notes, signatures, and longer writing sessions where a low-effort line is preferred over the firmer feel of a ballpoint.
This listing includes Nickel Palladium, Matte Black, Anthracite, and Imperial Blue finishes. The different treatments preserve the same Swift silhouette and integrated safety mechanism while giving the pen a range from understated metallic to darker, more contemporary finishes.

This is my second Lamy Swift. They look great, feel great and the retractable clip is a touch of cool. The cartridge dispenses the ink evenly and smoothly. The tip glides over the writing surface. My only regret is not getting the racing green when I had the chance. However the Palladium and the Blue are beautiful in their own right.
The LAMY Swift had been on my wishlist for quite some time, and I'm glad that I took a chance to buy it. It writes smooth, has a high quality construction, and the color (Imperial Blue) is pleasing to the eye. I'm thankful to have it in my collection!
