The base purple is a perfect match for the green sheen and it pops like none other. Bought two and will probably get a third because it's my go-to right now.
You can dress up this ink or use it playfully - update your journal, write a wistful note to an old friend, jot a thank you note or a party invitation. Very fun!
Love this ink. Used on the correct paper u can definitely see the green shimmer over the purple. It's became my favorite ink to write with
I am usually quite happy with Coloverse inks. After looking at the description and the “samples” / swatches, I was expecting more than a flat black/purple finish.
Tried with different nibs & papers.
Just a “blah” finish.
I’ll still use it as a dark-colored ink, but definitely no shimmer/shift/transition.
Maybe it was the bottle?
I've been very patient with this ink. I've put this ink in several cleaned, dried and unused pens and have written with this extensively. It appears dark purple-almost a shade lighter than black, but I cannot see any "greenish" sheen even when twisting the paper in the light. Perhaps it would work with a broad nib. Ink is overpriced, and a disappointment.
