The Nagasawa Original Professional Gear Slim Mugunhwa Purple Pink Fountain Pen is a delicate and culturally inspired collaboration between Nagasawa Stationery Center of Kobe and Sailor — part of Nagasawa’s celebrated series of boutique exclusives that translate regional themes and Kobe Ink colors into collectible writing instruments. These collaborations are produced in small quantities and are widely sought after by collectors of Japanese store-exclusive Sailor releases.

Inspired by the Mugunhwa (Rose of Sharon) — Korea’s national flower — the pen reflects the blossom’s symbolism of renewal, dignity, and enduring beauty. The color palette captures this theme through a soft purple-pink resin body, blending cool violet tones with gentle pink highlights for a floral, luminous aesthetic. The Mugunhwa motif has also appeared within Kobe Ink Story releases, reinforcing the pen’s connection to botanical symbolism and cross-cultural inspiration.

Built on the beloved Professional Gear Slim platform, the pen offers Sailor’s compact flat-top silhouette with balanced proportions and everyday comfort.
