We welcome returns solely for defective items. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate returns based on personal preferences, such as not liking the pen or it not feeling right in your grasp.
Note:If you're a multi-level subscriber, you might spot the same sample set in both boxes. Upgrade to the "premium" to avoid duplicate samples sets if you are subscribed to more than one level.

I have been getting the regular Inkmeister box for several months and am likely going to cancel. There have been a couple inks and one pen that I've enjoyed, but most of the pens are consistently not something I would purchase.
The most recent is a Lamy ABC - a pen specifically for beginners, and marketed for children just learning to write. As a fountain pen enthusiast, this is the last pen I would have chosen for myself. It seems like a poor choice for a subscription box marketed to fountain pen users
I'm pretty sure I'm going to cancel and spend my dollars toward pens and ink I know I'll enjoy.
I am enjoying my subscription box however I wish the box contained information on the items inside.
5 stars for the ink selection. I’m always pleased with the ink samples, because I love a mystery and I love to try out new ink. This month I got Private Reserve Neon inks, which are so fun and the perfect kind of ink to play around with without committing to buying giant bottles of something you might never use again.
4 stars for the pen, a Kaweco Perkeo M, a nice wet writer that comes with two little cartridges inside it and no labeling on the pen or packaging as to what model it is. Looks like a Kakuno, does not write like a Kakuno.
2 stars for shipping and customer service. I had previously subscribed to the ink only subscription, and it always shipped right away. I changed to the Inkmeister level and it took 2 weeks to arrive. Maybe it was a one-off thing, maybe I landed at the bottom of the shipping queue, but it was a noticeable difference. Be aware that they removed the cancel button from the manage your subscriptions page. Now you have to send an email to cancel your subscription.
I received the same 5 private reserve neon inks that I received last month. 4 of the 5 inks aren’t even writable inks, so I cancelled my subscription
I had it in my head that this would more of a variety of inks to try. That was not the case and is echoed in another comment. This fell short of what it could be. A chance to explore. If I had gotten 5 vials with 1 diamond 1 stipula 1 shimmer heavy 1 sheen heavy 1 random I would have been delighted and kept my subscription. Give me wet and dry and shimmer and sheen. Let me see lay and find a bottle I want to pick up.
