The Sailor Professional Gear Sunset Over the Ocean Fountain Pen, known in Japanese as Yuugure no Umi, captures the shifting colors of the sea at day's end. Deep blue and purple tones move through the resin while reflective particles suggest sunlight scattered across the surface of the water. Sunset Over the Ocean
The Japanese name Yuugure no Umi translates to "the sea at dusk," and the palette reflects exactly that moment. Rich blue-violet resin evokes deepening water and evening sky, while the suspended reflective material catches light like the final traces of sun across the surface.
Sailor describes the setting sun reflected on the sea as a symbol of change and transformation, emphasizing that every ending also carries the possibility of a new tomorrow. Metashine and Changing Light
The resin incorporates Sailor's Metashine material, adding reflective particles that become more apparent as the pen moves.
