They make a solid reliable pen that is ready to write no matter how long the last time it’s been used.
One of my favorite Pen companies, and the best part is, they are very affordable .
I love this pen. The amount of ink it allows, the smooth writing nib, the design, colors and price make it one of my favorites. Thank you Goulet folks for introducing me to this pen. May the ink be with you!
It is hard to know without actually using a pen how it will feel in the hand -- how comfortable for actual writing. I am less of a collector (sorry, Truphae!) and more of a writer/drawer, so ease of use is very important. I love how this pen feels, and while that is a personal thing, maybe the design itself helps. The faceted nib area -- three sided, but with gentle rolled corners contributes to this. I do wish I had gotten a fine or extra fine, since now that I have it I know I'll want to use it frequently, and the Medium I got is quite wide.
Like all TWSBI fountain pens, this writes smoothly and has a nice feeling and weight in my hand. The color is a nice warm orangey-yellow. I do not notice much of a difference from the regular Eco and the Eco T.
I have used fountain pens for years ... decades! I have many fountain pens, even some that are somewhat expensive, but now I only use my TWSBI pens. They have lovely large reservoirs and are inexpensive enough that I can buy a new color on a whim.
I know they are advertised as "starter" pens, but you know what, that means they are practically fail-safe. I can afford to have a number of them, fill them up with different colored inks, and I can easily see what color ink they have in them. So far I have not found them to dry up. With such a large reservoir I don't have to worry about running out of ink and not having any cartridges on hand when I am out and about. I highly recommend these for anyone! They would make a great gift too.
