The Jinhao 159 fountain pen is made in China and features several magnificent colors - from vibrant blue, orange, and red, to classic black, white and silver. The colors really pop against the gold and silver plated hardware, and two-tone #6 steel nib. It comes with a converter, and also accepts standard international ink cartridges (not included).
These pens are large (Montblanc 149 size) and have very smooth nibs - in fact, we use them often in our daily writing. The combination of great colors, full functionality and affordable price makes JINHAO a great pen to use every day!
Too big for even a large hand. Just too fat!
I ordered this pen having seen it mentioned so often, not expecting much at this price. Was I surprised! OK, the clip is just a bit thin but I’ll tell you this pen writes as smoothly as a Diplomat. The finish is flawless and I like the weight. Its got heft but is lighter than I expected. I will now be buying a white and a red for myself, one for each backpack with ink pots and more for freinds, especially for any “Newbies” as it will make their first experience great!
Don't let the low cost fool you into thinking that this is a low budget pen, its not. This pen has been treating me great with how smoothly it glides across the paper. It's weighed nicely for such a large pen and has the look of one far beyond its price point.. Perfect bargain pen!
Just be careful not to hit it or drop it because the enamel or paint is very thin
a fine finished material, nice nib and confortable in a writting move. i will orde other one ( now a white ones ).
