The LAMY Safari is a workhorse pen, known throughout the pen community for its ruggedness, reliability, and no-nonsense functionality. The triangular grip makes it great for those starting out that may not know how to hold a fountain pen, but it's used and loved by fountain pen lovers of all levels of experience. This white Safari comes with an interchangeable steel nib, which can be easily swapped out for another size. this fountain pen comes with a blue LAMY ink cartridge so you can get started writing right away. If you'd like to use bottled fountain pen ink, you can also purchase a LAMY Z28 converter.

Note: to ensure quality performance, LAMY tests their pens as a final step in manufacturing. If you happen to see any residual blue ink, rest assured that this is normal.

Great fountain pen for a great price

Previously bought two LAMY fountain pens from different places and they both turned out to be fakes. You won't get that here. Outstanding service and speed in shipping. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase from you again.

Pen fits well in hand, a little scratchy

This is a good pen, and for the price really can't be beat. It fits well in the hand, takes cartridges, has a clip, but the nib is a little scratchy at times.

Take a Safari!

If you haven’t yet tried out a Lamy Safari yet you are really missing out! Don’t let the price of this pen fool you—it is very well designed even though it doesn’t cost a fortune. For those who tend to grip too tightly or hold at the wrong angle this pens finger indents help make it one you can write with for a very long time. Love that you can monitor your ink level with the see through ink well hole on the side. The clip on the cap is very rugged so you likely aren’t going to snap it off at any time. Definitely take a trip to Truphae to pick up a Safari and find your new best pen!

Good quality and fast delivery

It’s not too easy to find authentic Lamy pen in the US and I had the experience of getting a fake one on Amazon. So I did some research on Lamy's official website and saw Truphae as a documented retailer. I gave it a try and I was glad that I made the purchase here. There were other official retailers too but they had higher bars for free delivery. Truphae offers free delivery to orders over $20 which is quite easy to reach and this is the only reason I chose Truphae in the first place.

The Lamy Safari White Fountain Pen I bought was pretty authentic I think, same quality with the old one I had. The delivery was super fast which is far beyond my expectation considering this is a small business and my experiences were that small businesses often had longer period of processing and mailing time. Truphae mailed out the package the same day I made the order and within the package there was a cute welcome card.

The day after I got my pen, I saw they launched new Lamy Fountain Pen for 2021 and the colors are PRETTY! Ouch, I should have waited a little longer. But, this is life, right? I still love the white fountain pen and I am very happy with my purchase. I would love to come back and buy other stuff here and would recommend Truphae to others.
