Very nicely tuned nib: a little feedback and definitely not a gusher, so it is a friendly fountain pen for not-so-fountain-pen-friendly office paper, without a risk for feathering and bleeding like crazy. But not so dry to cause false starts. Nice fit and finish, the pen feels luxurious and sturdy in the hand. The grip is a little shorter than I would like, but the texture is grippy and warm (and the threads are not sharp). The captive converter with the removable blind cap reminds of Leonardo's Momento Zero and is a nice addition, giving an european flair to the pen.
The rose gold accoutrements on the barrel are a nice touch without any sharp edges, with a nib to match, beautifully ornated with the Nettuno's N engraved in negative space. Nice clip also... but cap's bands and finial emblem do not match exactly the rose gold trim, being a more yellowish gold glossy plating and the clip is more on the pink side and matte ... and those two variations are next to each other... What happened in QC?
All in all, not a deal breaker, but once you see it, you can not unsee it.
