AstroGem Apollo takes BENU's fascination with vivid color beyond the familiar world of terrestrial gemstones. The collection is inspired by the uneven form of an interstellar asteroid, giving the pen a faceted, asymmetric profile that feels deliberately different from a traditional cigar-shaped fountain pen. Apollo pairs deep blue and purple resin with flashes of red glitter, creating a finish with the visual energy of a night sky in motion.

Craftsmanship & Design

The AstroGem's sharply faceted geometry is the center of its appeal. Each facet catches light from a different angle, allowing the resin's color shifts and glitter to appear more dimensional than they would on a smooth barrel. Apollo takes its name from a near-Earth asteroid, tying the colorway and unusual silhouette to the collection's celestial premise without becoming overly literal.

Writing Experience

Despite its angular appearance, the AstroGem remains a practical daily fountain pen. The screw-on cap can be posted, while a #6 stainless steel nib is offered in Fine, Medium, and Broad widths. The standard international cartridge converter system gives the flexibility to use bottled ink or compatible cartridges, and the pen can also be converted to an eyedropper fill for a larger ink supply.
