The Diplomat Aero Marrakesh Brown Fountain Pen combines the Aero’s streamlined, Zeppelin-inspired silhouette with one of the collection’s more distinctive finishes. Originally introduced as a Goulet-exclusive configuration, this version pairs a rich chocolate-brown lacquered body with matte gold-plated trim for a warmer, more formal expression of Diplomat’s modern industrial design.

Craftsmanship & Design

The Aero is built around a sculpted metal body with deep longitudinal grooves that give the pen its unmistakable profile. In Marrakesh Brown, the lacquered surface has a deep earthy tone that contrasts sharply with the gold-toned clip, finials, and trim. The snap-cap construction gives the Aero a satisfying mechanical feel while preserving the clean lines of the body.

Writing Experience

This example is fitted with an Extra Fine stainless steel nib and uses a standard cartridge/converter filling system. The EF point offers a precise line suited to smaller handwriting, detailed notes, and everyday use. There is light plating loss visible on the nib, which is cosmetic and is disclosed in the specifications below.
