Esterbrook Estie MV Vintage Fountain Pen Nib Adaptor
Esterbrook began manufacturing nibs in the US in the mid 1800s, but the 1930s were a period of importance, as they introduced their first interchangeable nib system in 1933. The interchangeabl nibs gave the user many options for writing, whether in school, business, personal, etc. Today, a similar system is reborn with the Estie and this specially engineered MV Nib Adaptor. The MV adaptor delivers a vintage nib experience with a modern Estie fountain pen. A random vintage Esterbrook nib unit is included with this adaptor; we cannot honor any special requests for special sizes. Also included is a proprietary converter which first the vintage nibs better than the normal standard international converter.

The Esterbrook Estie is a beautifully balanced fountain pen and the optional nib adaptor is not only a real boon to any of us who have some favorite older Esterbrook nibs, but also for aficionados familiar with (long defunct) English Osmiroid pens, the Estie Vintage Nib Adaptor is a god send.
With just a slight modification to an Osmiroid nib's feed (careful removal of approximately 1/8" of the back "stem" portion with a jeweler's saw or heavy utility blade), the Osmiroid nib fits perfectly into the Estie Vintage Nib Section as well as back into an Osmiroid pen if desired. Obviously this kind of tinkering is not for everyone, but it's wonderful to have this option. Thanks Esterbrook!
