Originally released as a dip pen around the year 1900, the Perkeo has been revived as a stylish entry-level fountain pen perfect for students and beginners. It carries on Kaweco's hallmark combination of classy and offbeat styling elements with its octagonal cap, 16-sided barrel, and teal color scheme. Its triangular grip section makes it easy to hold at the best angle for smooth ink flow and effortless writing. The transparent threaded section where the grip meets the barrel acts as a hidden ink window, letting you check the ink level without fully unscrewing the barrel.
Features:

Steel nib with a black finish.
Triangular ergonomic grip section.
Snap-on cap with a black metal Kaweco logo on top.
One blue ink cartridge is included.

This pen can also use a cartridge converter - available for purchase here: Standard International Converter

Scratchy

I received this pen in pink as part of my Inkredible subscription. I like the size and the fact that when posted, it feels like a full-sized pen. The pink color is fine; it’s cute in this mini pen. However, the fine nib is very, very scratchy and barely writes. I put a Monteverde ink in it to help with the flow. That has helped, but not to the point where I actually use the pen.

I figure the point of these subscription boxes is to try out new pens and inks. It’s a fun way to do exactly that. Perhaps, I have found out that fine nibs are not for me.

Love this pen!

I got this pen in my subscription box this month. I wouldn't usually buy a pink pen, but the color is nice and I got several comments on it in class yesterday. Yes- I was in an ISO 9001 class, and took notes all day. I actually ran my pen dry, so I got a really good look at how it writes. I find it to be smooth and flowed nicely on my journal and on the notebook provided by the instructor. (the paper was some kind of slick coated paper.) The ink they send was Noodlers, Operation Overlord Orange. What a fun pen to have! It was easy to fill, didn't leak on me and it has a very nice weight in my hand- lid on. Thanks!
