One of three special edition colors for 2020! Part of the LAMY Safari Candy collection, this fountain pen features a matte barrel and cap, clip, finial, and accents.

The LAMY Safari is a workhorse pen, known throughout the fountain pen community for its ruggedness, reliability, and no-nonsense functionality. The triangular grip makes it great for those starting out who have no idea how to hold a fountain pen, but it's used and loved by fountain pen lovers of all levels of experience.

The Safari comes with an interchangeable silver steel nib, which can be easily swapped out for another size. This fountain pen comes with a blue LAMY ink cartridge so you can get started writing right away. If you'd like to use bottled fountain pen ink, you can also purchase a LAMY Z28 converter. 

Note: To ensure quality performance, LAMY tests their pens as a final step in manufacturing. If you happen to see any residual blue ink, rest assured that this is normal.

First time user

Well, first time in many decades. Those pens years ago were scratchy and patchy. LAMY pens are smooth and fluid. No skips. No blotches. Just consistent writing. The indentations are such a help to keep the pen straight especially since I tend to roll the pen as I write. I got the teal color and same color ink. It’s fun to write with color. I will definitely be getting more. I also got the pink pen as a gift. She likes hers too.
