The LAMY Scala Pearl Limited Edition Fountain Pen Gift Set brings a luminous new finish to one of LAMY’s most architectural writing instruments. Shifting between soft cream and silver depending on the light, Pearl gives the Scala a quieter, more tactile presence while preserving the collection’s clean, precise silhouette.

Craftsmanship & Design

The Scala’s metal body is finished in an elegant pearl lacquer designed to reflect light with a subtle, almost mineral quality. A durable metal clip and polished metal section frame the softer body color with a crisp contrast, emphasizing the pen’s balanced geometry and restrained German design language.

LAMY describes the finish as “timeless and contemporary, understated yet luminous,” and the effect is intentionally dynamic: the color shifts with angle and light rather than reading as a flat white or cream.

Writing Experience

This special edition is fitted with a 14k gold-accented Fine nib and uses LAMY’s proprietary cartridge/converter filling system. The pen is supplied with a Z27 converter for bottled ink use, along with LAMY T10 cartridges for convenient everyday filling.

Gift Set & Collector Significance

The Scala Pearl is limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide, with the edition number etched into the clip. Each pen is presented in a gift box with a T53 Ruby ink bottle, one five-pack of T10 Blue-Black cartridges, one five-pack of T10 Black cartridges, and a Z27 converter.
