The powerful fountain pen design has a silver center ring bordered by a thin red ring and a spring lever clip featuring the staff of Asclepius, the universal symbol of medicine, created with the ancient goldsmith's art technique called "lost wax."

The Maiora Hippocratica fountain pen features a cartridge converter filling system compatible with standard international size ink cartridges and converters. It is fitted with a stainless steel fountain pen nib, also featuring the staff of Asclepius.
