The Montblanc Meisterstuck Golden Hour Solitaire LeGrand Fountain Pen captures the warm transition of sunset through engraved metal, translucent burgundy lacquer, and signature gold-coated fittings. Rather than reproducing a literal skyline, Montblanc abstracts the way evening light breaks across an urban landscape into a repeating hexagonal surface that glows beneath layers of translucent color.
The metal cap and barrel are engraved with a geometric hexagon pattern before being covered in translucent burgundy-red lacquer. Because the lacquer allows the underlying engraving to remain visible, the surface changes character as the pen moves through light. The same geometry continues onto the 18k gold nib.
The LeGrand uses Montblanc's internal piston mechanism, providing substantial bottled-ink capacity while preserving an uninterrupted exterior. Fine and Medium nib options allow the writing experience to be tailored without changing the decorative concept.
Golden Hour is a material-driven Solitaire whose appeal lies in the relationship between engraving, translucent lacquer, and reflected light. It gives the familiar LeGrand architecture the optical depth of a decorative object while preserving the mechanics of a serious writing instrument.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:

Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
