The Montblanc Meisterstuck Romeo & Juliet Doue Classique Fountain Pen is dedicated to Juliet and transforms the balcony scene's 'bright angel' imagery into ivory precious resin, gold-coated metal, and feathered engraving. The slimmer Classique proportions keep the composition elegant while the metal cap adds significantly more presence than the resin edition.
The wings originate in Romeo's description of Juliet as an angel above him during the balcony scene. Montblanc turns that metaphor into a feather pattern across the cap, while the ivory barrel evokes brightness and the gold-coated metal amplifies the sense of radiance. On the nib, Juliet's name appears inside a heart pierced by a dagger and surrounded by star-like rays.
The Doue construction combines a precious-resin barrel with a metal cap, giving the pen additional weight while preserving the slimmer Classique profile. Signature gold coating carries the feather pattern across the cap and coordinates with the clip and fittings.
A gold nib and cartridge-converter filling keep the Doue Classique practical to maintain and easy to switch between bottled inks. Fine and Medium nib options allow the same decorative platform to suit tighter handwriting or a broader, more fluid line.
The Juliet Doue is significant because the material upgrade is not merely cosmetic. The gold-coated cap intensifies the very image the edition is built around - Juliet as light - while the wing engraving makes Shakespeare's language physically tactile.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:

Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
