The Montblanc Meisterstuck Romeo & Juliet Solitaire LeGrand Fountain Pen brings the two lovers together in a single design. Where the resin and Doue editions portray Romeo and Juliet separately, the Solitaire combines their identities through green gradient lacquer, gold-coated filigree leaves, thorny branches, family initials, and an 18k gold nib marked with the letters R and J.
The initials M and C on the cap top stand for Montague and Capulet, the two houses whose feud determines the tragedy. On the nib, R and J replace those inherited family identities with the lovers' own initials. Gold-coated leaves evoke the garden that shelters their private relationship, while thorny branches coil around the cone and cap top to symbolize the pain and destruction surrounding their love.
The cap and barrel are coated in a lacquer gradient that moves from pale to deep green and then covered with signature gold-coated leaf filigree. Unlike the simpler resin editions, the Solitaire treats the entire body as a decorative surface, with the thorn motifs adding sculptural tension at both ends.
A handcrafted 18k gold nib and piston-filling system preserve the writing performance of the LeGrand platform. Fine and Medium nib choices are available, and the internal piston provides generous capacity without interrupting the decorated barrel.
The Solitaire is the narrative culmination of the Romeo & Juliet line. Family initials and lovers' initials, leaves and thorns, garden imagery and gold ornament all coexist in one object, compressing the play's emotional arc - love, secrecy, inherited conflict, union, and loss - into a single Meisterstuck.

Drop Shipping: In the event of errors in our on-hand inventory or to expedite delivery, some items may be drop shipped directly from our US distributors. This means that these items will be shipped directly from the distributor's warehouse to your designated shipping address.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:
Shipping Rates: International shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the package and the destination country.
Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
