The Nagasawa Original Tenjitsu Fountain Pen is a pen-show limited Professional Gear Slim created around the image of sunlight breaking through the sky. Built on Sailor's compact flat-top platform, Tenjitsu combines Nagasawa's Kobe-centered design language with Sailor's 14K gold nib system and the distinctive weather-vane nib engraving used on Nagasawa originals.
Nagasawa introduced Tenjitsu as a pen-show exclusive model, with distribution tied to selected pen events rather than ordinary continuous retail availability. That release strategy gives the model a different character from Nagasawa's regular Kobe-themed store exclusives: it was designed to travel through the international pen-show circuit and remain comparatively difficult to obtain outside those events.
The pen uses the Professional Gear Slim format, balancing a compact body with Sailor's familiar flat-top profile. A broad cap ring gives the design additional visual weight, while the 14K gold nib carries Nagasawa's weather-vane engraving, a signature detail associated with the Kobe stationery house.
Nib choices include Extra Fine, Fine, Medium-Fine, Medium, Broad, Zoom, and Music. The first five provide conventional everyday line widths, while Zoom and Music offer more specialized line variation and are priced separately.
Nagasawa traces its history in Kobe to 1882 and has become particularly well known among fountain pen collectors for original Sailor collaborations that connect writing instruments with the atmosphere, colors, and landmarks of Kobe. Tenjitsu continues that tradition while broadening the idea into a pen-show exclusive meant for collectors beyond Japan.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:
Shipping Rates: International shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the package and the destination country.
Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
