The Nagasawa Original Limited Edition Fountain Pen – Odyssey Star Seeker is the second release in Nagasawa’s Odyssey series, a collection introduced in 2025 and inspired by the ideas of adventure, long journeys, and intellectual exploration.
The name “Odyssey” originates from the Greek epic of Odysseus, whose ten-year journey home came to symbolize endurance, challenge, and the determination to keep moving forward. With the Odyssey series, Nagasawa draws on that same spirit—creating writing instruments that feel connected to discovery, ambition, and the journey of life itself.
While the first model in the series, Snow White, symbolized the beginning of a journey, Star Seeker is meant to evoke someone already traveling far from the starting point. Its deep blue body color is inspired by a vast and serene galaxy, expressing both romance and scale, as though moving through the boundless universe in search of something still unknown.
Created for the modern explorer, Star Seeker reflects the idea that writing is not simply a task, but part of a longer journey—an act of reaching outward, learning, and continuing forward. The result is a pen that feels thoughtful, symbolic, and quietly evocative.
Crafted from PMMA resin, the pen offers a polished and durable finish while maintaining a lightweight, comfortable feel in hand. It is fitted with a 14k gold nib engraved with Nagasawa’s signature weathervane motif, and is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium Fine, Medium, or Broad. The pen uses a cartridge/converter filling system, with converter included, for versatility and ease of use.
Each pen is individually serialized, reinforcing its limited edition status and adding another layer of collectibility to the piece.
