Nagasawa Original Standard Rokko Fountain Pen – Island Sky

Since 1882, Nagasawa of Kobe has stood for refined craftsmanship and a connection to place—offering writing instruments that reflect more than utility, yet the spirit of Japanese stationery heritage. The “Rokko” line takes this forward, honouring the nearby Mount Rokko and the landscapes of the Kobe region.

The Island Sky colourway evokes the coastal expanse seen from Kobe’s islands under clear midday light. Finished in a soft sky-blue resin, the pen’s body captures the airy calm of sea and horizon meeting. Crisp chrome trim complements the body tone, while the silhouette remains streamlined for comfortable writing.

Internally, the pen is fitted with a 14 k gold nib (available sizes: Fine, Medium) and uses a cartridge/converter filling system—offering modern convenience rooted in traditional form. Balanced for everyday use yet imbued with thoughtful regional identity, the Island Sky edition is well-suited for both writing and display.
