The Nagasawa x PenStyle Platinum 3776 Century Fountain Pen - Silhouette gives the familiar #3776 Century platform a quieter, more architectural character. An ivory-white barrel is paired with a soft grey cap and section, while a sandblasted matte surface replaces the glossy finish more commonly associated with Platinum's flagship resin model.
Craftsmanship & Design
The contrast between ivory and grey is deliberately restrained, allowing the frosted surface texture to become part of the design. Gold-tone trim introduces warmth against the muted body colors without disrupting the minimalist appearance. The result is a collaboration that feels recognizably #3776 Century while presenting the model in a more understated visual language.
Writing Experience
This example is fitted with a 14k gold Extra Fine nib. The narrow point is suited to precise note-taking, compact handwriting, and users who prefer the controlled character associated with Japanese fine nibs. Filling is handled through Platinum's proprietary cartridge/converter system.
Collaboration Details
The nib carries Nagasawa Kobe branding and the Kobe weathercock motif, giving the pen a visible identity beyond the standard production #3776 Century. That detail is significant for enthusiasts because it ties the pen directly to the collaboration rather than relying only on the colorway to distinguish it.
