The Parker Duofold International Jasper Red Fountain Pen is a richly colored interpretation of Parker's modern Duofold, combining the more compact International proportions with a deep red acrylic finish and traditional gold-tone trim. The Duofold name has represented Parker's upper-tier writing instruments for generations, and the International size offers the same visual presence in a slightly more restrained format than the Centennial.
The Jasper Red cap and barrel are accented by contrasting dark finials and gold-plated furniture, including Parker's signature arrow clip. Its acrylic construction keeps the pen comfortably balanced while allowing the layered red finish to remain the visual focus. This generation of Duofold was produced in the United Kingdom.
This particular example is fitted with a 14k gold Broad nib. The broad point lays down a generous line and is well suited to writers who favor expressive signatures, larger handwriting, or inks whose shading and color deserve room to show. The pen fills by Parker cartridge or converter, making it straightforward to use with either bottled ink or cartridges.
