The Parker Duofold Rollerball Pen - Grey Pearl brings the depth of Parker's marbled acrylic to the more compact International format. Layers of silver, smoke, and charcoal move through the body, while gold-plated trim emphasizes the sculpted cap, broad arrow clip, and tapered ends of the Mark II Duofold.
The International Proportions
Parker introduced the Duofold International in 1989 as a smaller companion to the Centennial fountain pen. In rollerball form, the International designation describes the scale of the body rather than a nib size, offering the same flagship design language in proportions that are easier to carry and comfortable for a wider range of hands.
Grey Pearl joined the collection in 1998. Its marbled acrylic varies naturally across each instrument, producing a finish with greater visual depth than a uniform resin or lacquer. The color remained in production until 2004.
Writing Experience
The capped rollerball produces a fluid ink line with less writing pressure than a traditional ballpoint. It combines the smoothness associated with liquid ink with the convenience of a replaceable Parker rollerball refill. The International body provides substantial presence without the larger scale of the Centennial fountain pen.
