Frontier Design
Introduced in 1996, the Frontier was created as a comfortable and approachable Parker fountain pen with a more substantial profile than the brand's slimmer everyday models. Its gently tapered body, broad arrow clip, and molded grip section were intended to make extended writing comfortable without complicating the mechanism.
Flighter is Parker's traditional designation for a stainless steel finish, valued for its durability and understated industrial appearance. GT identifies the gold-plated trim that adds warmth to the arrow clip, rings, and writing end.
Writing Experience
This example is fitted with a stainless steel Medium nib, a versatile width suited to general handwriting, correspondence, and journaling. The cartridge-converter filling system offers a choice between Parker ink cartridges and bottled ink through a compatible converter.
