Parker 5th Technology
Parker developed 5th Technology around a replaceable writing unit with a flexible tip that gradually conforms to the writer's angle and pressure. The system was intended to deliver the visual character of liquid ink with the convenience of a refill and a protected writing point.
The chiselled gunmetal finish reinforces the technical nature of the mechanism. Its repeating grid pattern creates changing reflections across the body, while chrome-plated trim frames the hood and arrow clip.
Writing Experience
The Parker 5th refill includes both the ink reservoir and the writing tip. Replacing the refill therefore renews the entire contact point, while the hood helps support and protect the flexible tip during use.
