The Parker Insignia Mechanical Pencil - Black Lacquer GT brings a polished, formal finish to the collection's slim mechanical pencil format. Deep black lacquer is framed by gold-plated trim, allowing the arrow clip and tapered writing end to define the instrument with restrained contrast.
Precision and Proportion
Parker introduced the Insignia in 1991 as a newly designed premium gift line. Geoff Hollington gave the collection a narrow body, elongated clip, and tightly controlled geometry that distinguished it from both the familiar Jotter and the broader Sonnet that would follow.
Gloss lacquer adds visual depth to the black body, while gold-plated appointments create a traditional Parker color pairing without disrupting the Insignia's clean vertical line.
Writing Experience
