From the Parker 15 to the Jotter
This design began as the Parker 15, a descendant of the French-made Parker Mixy. In the early 1980s, Parker folded the model into the Jotter family in the United States, although the Parker 15 name remained in use elsewhere for many years. Collectors often use the informal name Jotter 15 to distinguish these pens from later redesigned Jotter fountain pens.
The Special CT configuration combined a molded colored barrel with a stainless steel cap, chrome-plated trim, and a steel nib. Matte black gives the pen a restrained character, while the satin cap adds durability and visual contrast without the glare of a fully polished surface.
Writing Experience
This example is fitted with a stainless steel Medium nib. The firm, controlled point produces a practical line for correspondence, journaling, and everyday notes. The cartridge-converter filling system accepts Parker cartridges and can also use bottled ink with a compatible converter.
