The chiselled brass surface is finished in layered black lacquer, creating metallic highlights that follow the hourglass profile.
Parker 5th Technology
Parker 5th Technology uses a replaceable writing unit with a flexible tip supported by a metal hood. As the pen is used, the tip gradually adapts to the writer's angle and pressure. The system was developed to combine the expressive appearance of liquid ink with a clean refill process and protected writing point.
Craftsmanship and Design
The Urban's asymmetric chiselled pattern is not applied as a flat decoration. Its grid follows the changing diameter of the body, expanding and contracting with the sculpted form. Multiple layers of ebony black lacquer soften the pattern while allowing the metallic structure beneath to remain visible.
Writing Experience
The Parker 5th refill includes the ink reservoir and flexible writing tip as a single replaceable unit. Chrome-plated trim frames the hood and arrow clip, while the curved body provides a balanced and tactile grip.
