The Pelikan 1935 Originals of Their Time Jade Fountain Pen is a faithful late-20th-century recreation of one of Pelikan's most recognizable prewar designs. Released in 1998 as part of the Originals of Their Time series, the pen pairs jade-green marbled celluloid with black hard-rubber components and gold-plated trim for a distinctly vintage appearance.

Craftsmanship & Design

Pelikan produced 4,000 numbered examples of the 1935 Jade. The design closely follows the 1935 Pelikan 101, including the classic silhouette, dark green ink window, traditional clip profile, and historic styling. The pen uses a modern synthetic piston seal while preserving the visual character of its 1930s predecessor.

Writing Experience

This example is fitted with an 18k Medium gold nib and uses Pelikan's piston-filling mechanism. Its compact proportions and light weight make it an especially elegant collector-grade writer.

Condition

This pen is new old stock (NOS), with its original boxes and papers.
