Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue is one of the defining colors in Pelikan's traditional ink range: a clear, classic blue intended for daily fountain pen writing. Its familiar tone makes it equally at home in schoolwork, office notes, letters, and general correspondence.
Writing Character
Like the rest of the 4001 family, Royal Blue is formulated for even flow and consistent color. Pelikan specifically identifies this shade as washable and erasable with a compatible ink eradicator, a practical feature that has helped make Royal Blue a staple writing ink for generations. It can be used in Pelikan piston fountain pens and in cartridge/converter models with a suitable converter.
Pelikan 4001 Heritage
The 4001 collection reflects Pelikan's long history as an ink manufacturer and remains one of the brand's most recognizable consumable lines. Royal Blue is perhaps the most traditional expression of that heritage: uncomplicated, functional, and instantly familiar on the page.
