The Pelikan Classic M150 is one of the smaller piston-filling models in Pelikan's traditional fountain pen family, combining the brand's familiar green-and-black color scheme with gold-plated trim in a compact, lightweight format. This example is from the earlier M150 generation and is marked "W. Germany" on the cap band, a detail that places it within the model's early production era. Offered here as new old stock with its original box, it is an appealing survivor from a period when the M150 served as an accessible entry into Pelikan's classic piston-filler design.
Pelikan introduced the old-style M150 in the 1980s, retaining many of the visual cues that make the company's larger pens immediately recognizable. The green barrel is paired with a black cap and black piston knob, while the gold-plated clip and trim add warmth without changing the pen's understated character. At approximately 122 mm capped and about 11.1 grams, the early M150 is notably light in the hand and smaller than Pelikan's later and larger Classic models.
The proportions are especially useful for writers who prefer a nimble pen rather than a substantial one. Its light weight reduces the amount of effort needed to guide the pen across the page, while the traditional threaded cap and gently shaped section keep the design familiar to anyone who has used Pelikan's piston fillers.
A built-in piston mechanism draws ink directly from a bottle, eliminating cartridges and converters. The old-style M150 has an ink capacity of approximately 1.18 ml, giving the compact pen a practical supply of ink for regular writing. The barrel also provides a view of the ink level so the remaining supply can be checked before refilling.
This pen is fitted with a Fine gold-plated steel nib. Steel is the correct standard nib material for the M150, with the gold plating visually matching the pen's trim. The Fine width suits everyday handwriting, notes, and smaller writing where a controlled line is useful.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:
Shipping Rates: International shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the package and the destination country.
Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
