Pelikan Edelstein Apricot Achat is the 2025 Ink of the Year, a special-edition golden orange inspired by the warm color of apricot agate. It brings a bright, optimistic tone to the Edelstein collection while retaining the smooth writing character and refined presentation associated with Pelikan's premium ink line.
Color & Writing Character
Apricot Achat leans toward a luminous golden orange rather than a dark amber or rust. The color was developed to evoke vitality, warmth, and renewal, with enough brightness to feel expressive while remaining clearly legible on the page. Pelikan's Edelstein formula includes a special additive intended to support an especially smooth writing feel and care for the internal components of a fountain pen.
Edelstein Ink of the Year
The Edelstein collection takes its naming language from gemstones, and Pelikan introduces a special Ink of the Year as a limited seasonal addition to the range. Apricot Achat continues that tradition for 2025, pairing a gemstone-inspired color story with the distinctive heavy glass Edelstein bottle.
