The Sailor 1911 Large Fountain Pen - Trinity gives the rounded 1911 silhouette a fully blacked-out presentation through glossy resin, black ion-plated trim, and a matching dark 21k gold nib. The result is formal, controlled, and unmistakably modern without abandoning the traditional proportions of the 1911 series.

A North American Exclusive

Trinity was created for the North American market and released in both 1911 Standard and 1911 Large sizes. Its name and all-black styling draw on cinematic ideas of choice, reality, and transformation, but the design remains restrained enough to function as a serious everyday writing instrument.

The 1911 Large Form

The rounded cap and barrel ends distinguish the 1911 from Sailor's flat-top Professional Gear. In Large form, the pen offers a broader section and a 21k nib, giving it more visual and physical presence while remaining carefully balanced.

Writing Experience

The 21k Fine nib is finished in black ion plating to match the clip and trim. It produces a narrow, precise line with the deliberate tactile feedback associated with Sailor. Proprietary cartridges and the included converter provide flexibility between convenient refilling and bottled ink.
