The Sailor 1911S Black & Gold Fountain Pen pairs one of Sailor's most enduring silhouettes with a distinctive 14k gold Zoom nib. Finished in polished black resin with warm gold-tone trim, the 1911S offers the traditional balance and understated profile that have made the 1911 family a mainstay among Japanese fountain pen enthusiasts.
The rounded cigar-shaped cap and barrel are crafted from polished black resin and accented by gold-tone furniture, including the clip and cap bands. The design is compact and well balanced, with classic proportions that make it comfortable for everyday writing while retaining the formal appearance associated with Sailor's flagship 1911 line.
This example is fitted with Sailor's 14k gold Zoom nib. The Zoom is one of Sailor's specialty nib grinds: it produces a broader line at a lower writing angle and a finer line as the pen is held more upright, giving the writer considerable control over line width without changing nibs. The pen uses Sailor cartridges or a compatible Sailor converter.
This pen is in excellent pre-owned condition and is supplied with a Sailor presentation box. Please review the photographs for the most accurate representation of its cosmetic condition.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:
Shipping Rates: International shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the package and the destination country.
Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
