The Sailor 1911S Resin Fountain Pen - Ivory pairs one of Sailor's most traditional silhouettes with a warm ivory resin finish and classic gold-tone trim. The rounded profile keeps the pen visually conservative, while the lighter body color gives it a softer character than the darker finishes more commonly associated with the 1911 family.
The 1911S uses a compact resin body with a screw cap and cigar-shaped form. Its proportions make it easy to carry while preserving the visual balance of a full traditional fountain pen. Gold-tone appointments add contrast to the ivory body without making the design feel overly ornate.
This example is fitted with a 14k gold Fine nib. Sailor nibs are valued for their controlled feel and characteristic tactile feedback, and the Fine point provides a precise line well suited to everyday notes, correspondence, and smaller handwriting. The pen uses Sailor proprietary cartridges or a compatible converter.
