The Sailor Professional Gear Soda Pop Blue Fountain Pen was created as the 2022 Pen of the Year for the North American market, pairing the full-size Professional Gear with a bright, pool-blue colorway that feels deliberately playful. The saturated resin gives the model a distinctly summery personality while preserving the flat-top proportions and 21k nib that define Sailor's full-size Professional Gear.

Craftsmanship & Design

The design uses translucent and opaque blue tones to create a clean, energetic composition rather than an ornate decorative treatment. Sailor's anchor medallion, polished trim, and characteristic cap bands provide familiar brand cues, while the special 2022 edition details distinguish the model from standard-production colors.

Writing Experience

This example carries Sailor's 21k Music nib, a specialty point capable of producing a broad, expressive line with noticeable stroke variation.
