The Sailor Professional Gear Slim Manyo Fountain Pen - Willow brings the color relationships of Sailor's Manyo ink collection to the compact, flat-top Professional Gear Slim platform. A soft purple-lilac body is paired with cool blue-green accents, creating a palette that feels botanical without relying on a literal decorative motif.

Craftsmanship & Design

The Professional Gear Slim uses resin construction, a screw cap, and Sailor's distinctive flat finials. In the Willow colorway, the contrast between the purple body and cooler accent tones gives the pen a layered appearance that changes subtly depending on which part of the pen is in view. Gold-tone trim adds warmth and keeps the overall design visually balanced.

Writing Experience

This example is fitted with a 14k gold Medium-Fine nib, one of Sailor's most versatile everyday sizes. It offers more presence than a Fine while remaining controlled enough for regular notes and correspondence. The pen fills from Sailor proprietary cartridges or a compatible converter.

Manyo Design Language

The Manyo pen series translates relationships between Sailor's Manyo inks into physical color combinations. Willow draws from the tones associated with Manyo Nekoyanagi and Haha, allowing the pen to function as a companion to the ink collection while still standing on its own as a compact gold-nib fountain pen.
